Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon: Travel Beyond Alola!

So, I know I'm late to the party since this was unveiled yesterday, but due to the timing, I had to put up the trophy guide, of course. That being said, we got a new, exciting trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon yesterday, and man is it awesome! Despite only being 10 seconds shy of 2 minutes, there's a lot to take in. First, I'll link the video from Pokémon's English YouTube channel, then I'll discuss each piece. Let's get started!

So, to start off with, it shows the protagonist riding on Solgaleo/Lunala through an Ultra Wormhole. If you remember from Sun and Moon, you only ever went into Ultra Space once, to locate Lusamine after Cosmoem (Nebby) evolves into Solgaleo/Lunala, then you never enter it again, the wormhole only being used for accessing the "other world," where it flips your game's time and allows you to receive a 2nd Cosmog. You can fly through space and enter wormholes, and it allows you to fight the Ultra Beasts, like Nihilego and Buzzwole, on their home turf.

Next, we see this new location called Ultra Megalopolis, "a world where Necrozma has stolen the light." I wonder what that means, but before we learn anything else about it, we're introduced to a new group of people named the Ultra Recon Squad. There are 4 members, but you'll only interact with two of them based on your game. First it shows Dulse and Zossie within Ultra Sun. At first they're shown within the Aether Foundation, before cutting to a scene in a cave with the protagonist and Cosmog. Dulse mentions how "there is only one thing we are here to confirm," before it cuts to a quick shot at the beginning of a battle against him. It then cuts to Phyco and Soliera, the two members you'll encounter in Ultra Moon, with Phyco stating something about aura readings in an area, while he speculates that it has something to do with an island kahuna. Very strange.. it then cuts to a battle into against Soliera before revealing....

A new Ultra Beast! This little guy is known as "UB Adhesive" and is pure Poison. While we're not shown much, it's shown that Dulse and Soliera have one on their team when they battle you in some location, and it seems to be their only Pokémon, and it's in a Beast Ball, naturally. While we don't know where the location is, it must be sort of early, as it's shown using a Poison attack against the protagonist's Dartrix, which means that it's at least far enough to where your starter will have evolved the first time.

While we already know of the existence of UB Burst, we now have a typing to give to it: Fire/Ghost. It's also known that it has a brand new move called Mind Blown, in which it detaches its own head and chucks it at the opponent in a display if fireworks. It is Fire, and it must be powerful as it manages to one hit-KO a level 71 Metagross! After that, it zooms in to show that using the move robs Burst of 50% max HP, meaning that it's a risky move to use, but could easily wind up being a potential strong suicide move in online battles.

And again, we already know of UB Assembly's existence, but it's worth noting that it has the Rock/Steel typing!

And that's all for the new trailer, but man am I hyped! This is looking cooler and cooler every time we get a new trailer and I just can't wait to play!

Have a nice day!~
