Happy Halloween!

So it's Halloween today. I don't go out trick or treating anymore, just because I'm just not into it anymore, really. Not only that, but the area I'm in feels kind of dead, there's hardly anyone out anymore, and if there are other kids out, they're in a pack with a chaperone, and there's maybe... 1 or 2 packs, that I can tell. Like, I hear the kids giggling and all, but still. If more kids were out at night, well, I'd love to just sit and give out candy, I sure wouldn't mind. Maybe one day, but that day is not today.

So, yeah, today won't have a gaming post, but rather just some general Halloween advice, mainly for the young ones, as sometimes you can't ever be too careful anymore. And even if some of these things seem redundant or seem like a "Well, no duh!" kind of thing, it's still something, you know? Anyways, let's begin.

- This might be the most redundant of the bunch, but definitely dress warmly with your costumes, even if it means having a layer underneath your costume. If your costume is already nice and warm, then you're good. But if not, try to get a layer on underneath, because no kid wants to have a cold the day after Halloween, when they're already going to have tummy aches from all the candy they're going to have.

- Always be sure that your kid is under the watchful eye of a trusted guardian or parent. Nobody can stress that enough because these days, kids just get taken off the street, even in broad daylight! If you have a small group of kids, definitely make sure you keep an eye on them, especially if you end up being the chaperone. Bringing a flashlight is a good tactic to do, and some people give out glow sticks as well, so your kid can hold them and, at least in some small way, you can keep an eye on them as you can see the light from the stick, until it burns out a few hours later, usually. But you're not going to be out all night long, as eventually you have to bring the kids home.

- Make sure you check the candy before they start chowing down on it, because, of course, you can't ever be too careful. If something isn't wrapped, toss it away, that's what I was always told. And of course, just be careful of any dangerous objects, because although it may seem unlikely, there's always a chance that some dangerous object was placed in there, accidentally or not.

- This doesn't need to be said, really, but generally have a route planned out. A nice walk around the neighborhood is fine, especially if you know where you're going. Obviously, though, don't go too far from your route because once you get too deep into unfamiliar territory, it's going to be a pretty long walk home, and some neighborhoods are dangerous, as well.

- And I guess the most important thing to do is have fun. If you're a parent reading this, or a chaperone/guardian/babysitter/etc., just be sure to keep an eye on the kids and make sure they listen to you, because you don't need them running off or getting into trouble, or, heaven forbid, harmed in any way. And if you're a kid reading this - which seems pretty unlikely, but you never know - please make sure you listen to whomever you're exploring with, be it your parents or chaperone. Stay with them and don't go running off. I know you want to have fun, and that's fine, but your safety is WAY more important than blindly having fun, especially when walking at night.

Besides that, I hope all of you have a wonderful Halloween and I hope you have a great day. Remember that the trophy guide for Rune Factory is going up this Thursday, November 3rd. I have to make sure I get it up asap, since my sister and my niece, and I think my mom as well, are going to be stopping by, so it's going to be a pretty busy and tiring day. But enough about that, I will see you later! :D

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

So, now we have the sequel to Luigi's Mansion. I had really high hopes for this when I saw that it was announced. At the very least, I wanted to have as much fun as I did with the GameCube game before it. And boy did it not fail. Everything just feels so perfect, almost like you're playing the older game, but just with a different controller, story, and location, with better graphics. I love that it has a mission system, where each mansion has more than one level associated with it, and you can always go to rooms you couldn't enter in previous missions, allowing you to collect items you may have missed for whatever reason, like in the first mansion where you don't have certain upgrades yet.

I also love the upgrade system, where getting more money in each level helps unlock more upgrades, like a shock attack that drains the health from ghosts and makes it easier to catch them. I also enjoy the new Scarescraper mode, where you can take on levels with players online to work towards a common goal. I played that mode a few times, and it was really fun. A little hectic, but still lots of fun.

If you enjoyed the first Luigi's Mansion, you would absolutely love this sequel, it's absolutely wonderful and it improves upon everything the first game did. It's definitely worth it! As always thank you for reading. Tomorrow's post won't be gaming related, but it's still important enough to put on here. So I'll see you tomorrow for a Halloween post! See you later! :D

Luigi's Mansion

Ah, Luigi's Mansion, a perfect game to talk about so close to Halloween that everybody else has done at some point or another. But all clichés aside, this was one of my first 3 GameCube games, and the disk still plays the game like new. I didn't know much about this game, save for the fact that it's Luigi in a haunted mansion catching ghosts. However, the game more than impressed me and I enjoy coming back to it every so often to replay it and beat it in, like, a day. Of course, it's also at the point where all the secrets are memorized - well, except for some of the light blue money ghosts, I don't have all of them memorized yet.

I, of course, am not the biggest fan of the fact that Luigi has been portrayed as a coward since this game, but I don't work at Nintendo so I can't argue. It still works for him and it technically gives Luigi a bit more personality than Mario has. And besides that, this game just has a lot of charm to it. Luigi describes a lot of stuff when you examine them, almost like some survival-horror games where all you do is examine things. He whistles/hums the main theme of the game depending on if the lights are on or off, it's just the little things that makes it so fun.

All in all, this game is fun, and if you somehow haven't played this game, you're missing out. Even if you're not a big Mario fan, or Luigi fan in some cases, you'd still enjoy this game, just for all the silliness it has to offer and all the smiles and laughs it can give you. Plus, let's be honest, we all had the feels at the end of the game anyway.

Thanks for reading, and as always I will see you later! :D

A Huge Sun and Moon Reveal Today!

So, let's not waste any time because we got a slew of new Pokémon to talk about, let's go!

So first we have Decidueye, the final evolution of Rowlet. It sheds off its Flying typing to become Grass/Ghost, the 5th Pokémon to be this type after Phantump and Trevenant, and Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist. It gains a new signature move: Spirit Shackle, which prevents enemies from switching out, as well as dealing damage at the same time. It's, essentially, a damaging Mean Look. This, of course, is one of the evolutions shown in that original Chinese Leak months and months ago, so you can easily see where this is going next, right? I really like how it looks, I think it looks really cool and if I had picked Rowlet, I definitely wouldn't be let down by this final evolution.

So next is Incineroar, Litten's final stage, and a very huge deal for me, as a Litten-chooser. When I saw the leaks, I hoped this wouldn't be real, because I couldn't see a small cat turn into a wrestler. And when I saw Torracat, I had more hopes. Hell, even when those data mine leaks came out and showed the Pokedex pictures, I was still hoping, even though the evidence was against me. I finally came to terms with it, and after getting used to it, it's not so bad. The biggest thing was hoping it wouldn't be ANOTHER Fire/Fighting type. Well, guess what, it's not! It's Fire/Dark, the exact typing I was hoping Litten would eventually become, so I'm so happy about it! It gains a signature move: Darkest Lariat, which does damage and ignores any and all stat changes. Sounds terrifying if you ask me.

Finally, of the starters, we have Primarina, a Water/Fairy type that Popplio will eventually become. Out of all 3, this is the one I was actually really hoping Popplio would become. It's very pretty and also really cute and I just love the design. Plus, I just KNEW Popplio would end up as a Water/Fairy, it made sense. As with the others, Primarina gains a signature move: Sparkling Aria, which does Water damage, but also heals the target of a Burn if it's afflicted with that condition. It sounds like it could definitely be useful in certain conditions. Not sure which conditions, but I'm sure we'll find out.

This is Tapu Lele, the Island Guardian of Akala Island. It is Psychic/Fairy. Much like Tapu Koko, it has its own Surge-based ability, this one being Psychic Surge, which uses Psychic Terrain. It prevents priority moves, go figure. Not much to say about Tapu Lele, but it's really cute, honestly. Each Tapu also shares a unique Z-Move, called Guardian of Alola, which looks really awesome!

This is Tapu Bulu, the Grass/Fairy Guardian of Ula'ula Island. This one has Grassy Surge, which brings out Grassy Terrain. I like the overall look to it, it reminds me of a boar or maybe even a bull. I honestly thought it might be Fire type, just based on the colors alone, but nope, it's Grass/Fairy. Not bad, not bad.

Finally, we have Tapu Fini, the Water/Fairy Guardian of Poni Island. This one has Misty Surge, which brings out Fairy Terrain, by the look of it in the trailer. I think this one looks really pretty honestly. I think the motif that everyone thinks is a dolphin, or at least something dolphin-like. I don't know, but I like all of the Tapu Pokémon.

This is Cosmog, a Psychic type with the ability Unaware. Literally that's all we know, other than flavor text about it, stating that Aether is researching it and if you show any consideration, this little guy likes you a lot. I think it's adorable, simple as that, I really like this little guy.

Finally, the last Pokémon shown, Alola Persian, which looks rather ugly in my opinion, but that's just my opinion. It's pure Dark with the abilities Technician and Fur Coat. Maybe it's just the angle of the artwork, but it just has such a fat face. On the other hand, though, its face almost reminds me of something straight out of a Ghibli film, so there's that.

The next and probably the biggest part is the new Battle Tree! In the game, they're working on creating a Pokémon League. Most likely this is part of your post game. Champions of the Island Trials, as well as people strong enough to be Island Champs, as well as other champs from other regions, can come to this place to test their strength. In the trailer, we see that you can battle Cynthia, the champion of Sinnoh, as well as Wally, your other rival in Hoenn. And you can recruit them to battle other Trainers in the Tree. The biggest thing, in my opinion, is that Blue and Red, the prodigies of Kanto, also appear, with new Alola-appropriate attire, and can be battled. Red is, of course, silent as ever. This sounds like out Battle Maison/Battle Resort post-game stuff found in Gen 6. I love the concept of battling older Champions though, that was something I enjoyed a lot in Gen 5, especially with the Pokémon World Tournament in Black and White 2.

And that's it for this Pokémon news batch, a lot of awesome stuff was shown off today and I can't wait to see what else they show us as we close out on October and get into November. Thanks so much for reading this far, I appreciate it so much, and I always appreciate your time. I'll be making a new poll after next week's trophy guide on Rune Factory, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks again and as always, I will see you later! :D

Mickey's Speedway USA (N64)

Ah, one of my favorite games on the N64. And yes, another Disney game. But there's just something silly about this game that always has me coming back, some kind of charm. Maybe it's the catchy music, or the characters from my childhood. Maybe it's the memorable tracks that ramp up in difficulty, like the Frantic Finale courses, such as Colorado. Maybe nostalgia.

As you would expect, think of it as a Disney version of Mario Kart, except with differences. But you still get items, Race Tokens (which I assume increase your speed? I honestly never found out.), etc. You have 6 characters to play as from the beginning: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pete, and Daisy. The main premise is that the Weasels have dog-napped Pluto and you have to race around the USA in order to save him. You travel to many places, such as Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Hawaii, Los Angeles, and more. You can unlock Dewey, Louie, and Professor von Drake as you play the game and win the rainbow cups (which are earned by getting 1st in every race in a series. Otherwise, you get gold as the highest.). I know you can unlock Huey as well, but I believe you need the GBC version or something in order to do it, as I have never unlocked him.

It's dumb fun and a silly time waster and I love it so much. And if you want to win every race easily, well, von Drake is your man- eh, duck, for the job! Seriously, on Amateur he's unstoppable, but I don't remember how he handles on Intermediate, Professional, or Mirror.

And of course there's a fun battle mode, Time Trails, a practise course, everything you'd expect from a racing game, but the best part has to be the cheats (You know, the stuff that was FREE and required you to unlock them in game.). These include a heckle button (You taunt when you honk your horn), rainbow sludge, and more.

Whether you like racing games or not, this game is definitely worth a try if you ever get your hands on it. As always, thanks so much for reading, it's great to have a laptop again, and I will see you tomorrow for Pokémon news! See ya! :D

Disney Golf (PS2)

So another silly game title, Disney Golf is one of the original titles I got on my PS2. While not a sports fan by any means, I do enjoy golf games, like Mario Golf, for example. Disney Golf is anything you would expect from Mario Golf, but with Disney stuff instead.

In the main single player mode, you play as one of 8 characters: Goofy, Donald, Minnie, Morty, Pete, Daisy, Professor von Drake, and Max, with Mortimer Mouse being the main antagonist, as well as being unlockable for other modes later on. In it, your character is trying to win rounds to qualify in the Mickey Cup Tournament. After he/she wins, your character will have their trophy stolen by Mortimer, and will win it back after defeating him in his own Sky Course.

You can equip skills and other items to help you, like good luck charms to prevent OB, or items to mess with the other player, like making the distance to hole invisible or messing with the power meter. It's an overall fun game and I love going back to it every so often.

Another short post, I know, but that's really all there is to Disney Golf. If you've played Mario Golf, you've played Disney Golf in some way. But no worries, tomorrow I'm getting a new laptop! So my posts will be up to snuff again and my trophy guides will be great again, and just in time for Pokemon news on Thursday. As always, thanks for reading and I will see you later! :D

Wario World

Probably within my top 10 GameCube titles, especially within those that I own. It's silly, it's fun, it's a Wario game, so it's tons of fun!

The premise is that Wario learns about a great treasure while watching TV one day. He goes out to grab it in true Wario fashion, and the Black Jewel steals away Wario's Castle and his riches. You know, another day for Wario. So it's up to you to help Wario defeat the Black Jewel and recover his castle, while also restoring his riches. Along the way you meet Spritelings, small creatures who promise to get Wario his castle back for rescuing them. Depending on how many you rescue, Wario can have different castles in the end, although it's mainly to give you incentive to save them all.

It's a great game for venting out frustration, as you punch and smash your way through enemies and you can inhale money using Wario's big mouth. That's not good, Wario. Eating money can lead to all kinds of health problems. I love.coming back to it every so often just for some silly fun and some laughs at the fun levels, and some of the enemies in the game are actually kind of creepy to be honest.

That's all for Wario World. I don't feel all too well tonight so I apologize for the shorter post than yesterday but I hope you liked this post anyway! Stay tuned for Disney Golf tomorrow, and I will see you later! :D

Duck Dodgers (N64)

I felt the need to clarify that it is not the tv show I'm talking about, even though I loved that a lot too. Anyways, Duck Dodgers, as you probably know, is a super hero alter ego used by Daffy Duck and Porky Pig in the Looney Tunes spinoff, and the main antagonist is Marvin the Martian. In this game your goal is to collect the 100 Energy Atoms scattered throughout 5 big worlds (which gives every world a nice clean 20 to collect.) in order to stop Marvin from ddestroying the Earth. And of course the bosses of each world are comprised of Looney Tunes characters, such as Yosemite Sam.

This game is something of a collect-a-thon mixed with a platformer. Think of it in a similar vein to Super Mario 64. Each area in each world will let you know how many more Atoms there are to collect, which usually ranges from none or 1, to maybe 3 at the most. When I call the worlds big, well.. they were certainly pretty big for 2000 standards. But they're certainly not tiny. Also, much like Mario 64, some areas within the worlds require you to have X amount of Atoms before you can enter, and outside of the area is a neon sign. If it has a red X, you haven't entered it yet. If it has a green checkmark, then you completed it AND got every Atom in there (I believe if there's some missing, the checkmark will be yellow, but it's been a while so I don't remember off the top of my head). The game has silly humor, as you would expect from Daffy Duck at this point, and some of those atoms are pretty well hidden. Like for one, you have to shoot some hoops in a basketball game, and in another you end up having to play Tennis on an arcade machine (it says Tennis, but really it's just Pong)!

All in all, this is one of my favorite games on the Nintendo 64 and I love going back to it and beating it in a day, usually. It's kind of funny cause I know where the atoms are by heart and how to get them. Then again I've replayed it countless times over the years. I love this game, and once I decide to break out the 64 again, I will definitely play this game again. Thanks so much for reading and I will see you later! :D

Small Schedule Update

So ny sister is coming by tomorrow so there will be another late post tomorrow after she leaves. So this coming week I actually have a plan and I'll have some games in mind to talk about too, so here's a nice look at the coming 5 days.

Sunday: Duck Dodgers (N64)
Monday: Wario World
Tuesday: Disney Golf (PS2)
Wednesday: Mickey's USA Speedway (N64)
Thursday: Next Pokemon batch of information.

As you can tell, a few oldies are there, and namely they're games that I love very very much, despite a few of them being silly or odd choices, but we'll get to them tomorrow. Again, apologies that tomorrow's post will be late again, but what can you do when you have family visiting, eh? See you later!

Welcome to the trophy guide for Okami HD! This one may seem a little bit.. lacking, but that's only because I don't want to talk about important story or plot elements in these trophies, that's why most story trophies have no description. Grab Life by the Leash Increase your Solar Energy, Ink Pot, and Astral Pouch levels to maximum capacity.
If you do everything you can do get more praise whenever possible, this won't be super hard by any means. The flavor texts forgets to mention that your coin purse also needs to be maxed out. Otherwise this trophy is pretty simple, all things considered.

No More Fish in the Sea Complete your Fish Tome.
Simply catch every fish at least once to get this trophy. The four places you can fish are . Agata Forest, Sei-an City, North Ryoshima Coast, and Kamui.

Have Guides Will Travel Complete your Travel Guide.
These are given to you for the most part, mainly after collecting your Celestial Powers. Some, of course, you have to buy, but mainly they're simply given to you and if you love exploring, you'll come across all of them in no time flat.

Give a Dog All the Bones Complete your Treasure Tome.
If you do a lot of exploring, this will come in time. Nothing is missable and there are plenty of copies of each treasure in the game, mainly in chests. There are a few unique ones that only have one copy, but it's nothing time sensitive.

Sniff 'Em Out Defeated all monsters on the Wanted List.
Different characters will assign you wanted lists for a certain array of demons, specially marked with arrows. You can only find these monsters in Demon Scrolls at night, and once you defeat them, you cross their names off the list to show your progress. Complete each wanted list to earn this trophy.

Leave No Chest Unopened Collect all Stray Beads.
I won't even try to list all the locations. All are not missable except the first one in the first area where you learn Rejuvenation and Power Slash. Otherwise, plenty of handy guides out there better than what I could do.

All Creatures Great and Small Complete your Animal Tome.
Once you feed every type of animal at least once, this trophy is yours. If you're working on gaining praise for your upgrades, this will come to you naturally in time.

Teach an Old Dog New Tricks Learn all god techniques to fill up your Technique Scroll.
This comes from the dojos in different areas of Nippon, namely Shinshu Field, Ryoshima Coast, and Kamui. These can be gotten whenever you want, save for the double jump, but everything has a purpose and will improve your battle prowess greatly. In total, expect to drop around 2.5 million yen for everything.

From Imps to Demons Complete your Bestiary.
This one isn't bad if you actively hunt down Demon Scrolls. There are only two enemies truly missable, as everything else can be done through normal play. They are:
Fire Doom Mirror, in the Emporer's room. Look for scrolls on the floor before you try to enter the Emperor to fight Blight.
Clay Flyer, when you start battling Clay enemies. Hunt around the area until you find the Clay Flyer or you lost your chance for it.

Barking Up the Cherry Tree Earn a Cherry Tree rank for each item in the Total Results screen.
This one isn't too bad, honestly. It's a matter of doing as much as you can before beating the game, as the Total Results screen comes at the very end. As there's no way to have a track on these, you may have to go out of your way if you're unsure about your progress. Here are the following things you have to have, minimum, to get this trophy:
Deaths: Less than 5
Praise Earned: 4500 or more
Enemies Defeated: 550 or more
Demon Fangs: 300 or more
Money Gained: 4,000,000 yen or more
Note that this is, of course, all cumulative, but just stockpile on that yen just to be safe, and maybe some Demon Fangs as well. As for deaths, it's not too bad. If the Astral Pouch revives you, it is NOT a death, so don't worry too much. Just be careful and have fun.

Lupine and Divine Earn a Cherry Tree rank for each item in the Results screen.
Super simple, just finish a battle quickly without taking damage, and this is yours. You can always fight weaker enemies later on if this is giving you trouble. As long as Time and Damage has a cherry tree, you're golden.

Out of the Gate Swinging Defeat all enemies at all three Devil Gate trial caves.
You'll find these in Ryoshima Coast, North Ryoshima Coast, and Kamui. When you enter a Devil Gate for the first time, you have to face a Bandit Spider, which fights exactly like the Spider Queen. Be prepared for a long amount of enemies and challenges and have a lot of items on hand, as well as your best weapons. The one in Kamui, especially, is very difficult.

Who Let the Dogs Out? Defeat the Kusa 5.
After finishing Oni Island, you can return to the Gale Shrine to face these powerful dogs. Despite it only saying the Kusa 5, you face all 8 Canine Warriors so be careful! If you can handle tough enemies, like from the Devil Gates, you can handle these dogs with ease.

Dog Eat Dog Beat Hayabusa's turnip-digging record.
This is technically story related but it can be done as soon as you restore Kamiki Village. Simply dig up all 10 turnips without the woman smacking you. She does have a tiny delay before she swings, so just keep an eye on her. May take you a try or two but it's pretty simple.

Diggin' It Complete five digging mini games.
3 of these are story related and two aren't, but the two aren't extremely out of your way so it's not like you're going to be going on a super long vacation trying to find them. After you complete the 5, the trophy is yours.

Eat My Flower Trail Win the race against Ida and Hayate.
In Shinshu Field and Ryoshima Coast you'll see these postmen running around in a route. After racing and beating them 3 times, this trophy is yours.

Dog Gone Fast Win the race against Kai.
After you complete the Wawku Shrine, the last dungeon in the game before the Ark, you canreturn to the entrance of Yoshpet and have a true race aagainst Kai. She's no pushover but if you know your way through Yoshpet, this trophy is as good as yours. Just be careful!

And that's it for the trophy guide! Not a super difficult platinum, by any means. There are several trophies that take time, but you can still easily enjoy the game with zero time limits for trophies, save for a very small amount of missable stuff. But I hope you have fun with this beautiful game, and as always, thanks for reading, and I will see you later! :D

*This game took me a total of 5 days and 15 hours to finish, from my first trophy to the platinum. My first trophy was "Yomigami" which was achieved on December 8th, 2015 at 4:26 AM. My final trophy was "Leave No Chest Unopened" which was received on December 13th, 2015 at 6:38 PM, along with the platinum, "Top Dog." This platinum trophy is the 30th platinum trophy I have received.*

Okami

It's funny how I learned about Okami. I knew people who had talked about Okami often, and with great fondness. Despite any of it, I never really knew much about it and, well, never really looked it up for the most part. All I knew was that, at the time, it was only on PS2. Years later, I finally got it myself on the Wii (with the older boxart that has the IGN symbol on the front cover, actually.) and I had a ton of fun with it!

Everything was great about it, from the story and characters to the art style and music. I really did see how people could call it a beautiful or very artistic game. Of course, the Wii motion controls, primarily with the drawing portions, really felt.. I don't know, kind of annoying, if only because the Wii sometimes has very sensitive controls, especially with that sensor bar. But then years later I got it on the PS3 as well, which did make everything look more crisp and less blurry, and using an analog stick to draw was surprisingly way easier and more fun, I guess. I really love Okami and I hope that tomorrow you all enjoy the trophy guide. See you later! :D

Pokemon Sun and Moon: Special Demo Version

So, yes, I do know about the data mining that's been happening in other countries from the demo. Yes I have seen a lot, and I do like a lot of what I see, and there's stuff I don't like either, but that's for another day when stuff gets officially revealed, like on our next news day: October 27th.

But that's not why you're here right now, nah, you're here you're here for the demo version that you all probably know about by now, especially after reading up on Serebii or the countless videos from YouTube. Well, I was going to update as I play, but maybe it's better if I play first, then just go through with the text. It's not going to be extremely expansive, but I'll do my best to talk about every thing I can, minus all of the data stuff a lot of people have been talking about. So once it becomes ready for download, I'll get it and we'll have a great time!

So after setting the language, we emerge from our house to find a letter in the mail, with a Greninja in a ball, given to us from some unknown sender. We're asked by our mom to go to Hau'oli City and get their address figured out. We are told that our family moved from the Kanto region, wow! No wonder we have a Meowth at home. So, now that I have control over Sun, it becomes very, quickly, clear that the d-pad does not move you, it's only the Circle Pad now, which I don't mind at all.

A quick look in my menus shows that I have an empty bag and no money, but I have a level 36 Greninja, with the new ability Battle Bond, which makes it transform into Ash-Greninja after it defeats a Pokemon. There's a new bag space, called Free Space. Sounds good for things that can't fit into any category, or get registered, for quick access. Anyways, let's walk around and talk to some people in this place.

But first, a quick check on that Greninja. Turns out, that letter was from Ash Ketchum himself, as the OT says Ash. Clever. Anyways, moving on! As I try to leave, we bump into Hau, who is going to be our traveling partner and rival in the games. He says that his grandpa asked him to come to City Hall. Our mom tells us to explore the city with Hau, who says he's going to show us all the cool stuff. Sounds good to me!

Immediately, we get approached by two Team Skull members! After some words, we enter battle! And immediately the Team Skull music sounds awesome and pretty menacing, actually. This grunt sends out a Yungoos, which is 11 levels lower than our Greninja, so it's not going to last long at all.

After a sweet critical hit, it's over. The grunts go running after getting utterly owned by us, and Hau says to follow him to the Pokemon Center, but I have to explore first! Of note, to start, is a stuffed animal of a blue Granbull in the Police Station. Of course it might be colored blue because of the police, but who knows. Next, a quick stop in the Masalada shop tells us that tthey're pretty addictive. No wonder Hau loves them so much! As I explore Hau'oli, the calm and upbeat music really sinks in, it's very relaxing. As I run through the city, I hear Pokemon cries from distant grassy patches that I can't reach yet, dang it! I wanna battle! But before that, more exploring.

One man tells us that we have to talk to "some weird old guy" to reach Ten Carat Hill. A weird old guy, huh? Guess we'll find out soon. One girl mentions someone named Kahili, who is quite strong in Pokemon battles and if off conquering the world. Sounds like someone is aspiring to be the Champion. Someone else mentions that you can do the island challenge once you turn 11 in Alola. Sounds like we're older than 10 this time, confirmed. Finally, a group of Slowpoke block my way out. Oh well, looks like it's time to meet with Hau.

The new Pokemon Center has a nice calming new remix of the theme. Hau gives us a Super Potion, which now heals 60 HP, ten more than before. The Center has two shops, the one on the right is the obvious Mart, we we're used to by now. Then there's one on the left, which appears to be a cafe. The lady mentions the owner is looking for the finest ingredients and will be back in a month. How clever, since the game drops in a month. As we leave, we meet with Professor Kukui, who asks if we want to go through a trial to make ourselves stronger, which we definitely accept. He tells us that the trial is on Ten Carat Hill, so away we go!

The place looks lovely, and I see grass patches in front of me. Again with the lovely music here as well. As we approach Kukui, he says how Wild Pokemon will attack us as we walk through grass. He tells us to come inside the hill for the trial, but first, some Pokemon battles, to see what's here! First I come across little Pikipek, just hanging around in the grass. Then I come across another one. After one more encounter, I find a Yungoos waiting for us. A man tells us that Dragon types wait for us in the trial, which sounds awesome! Suddenly I find Rockruff in the wild! Dang it, I wish I had some Pokeballs because I want my rock puppy! We're next told that when you meet eyes with a Trainer, it's go time, and the camera pans to show us a Trainer in waiting near the cave entrance. As we approach, the screen gets slighty darker and the music hushes slightly, to show us that this person will battle us if we cross their path, which we must! Stepping into their line of sight initiates a battle with Youngster Honus! And there's that wonderful Trainer music I love so much, too.

He sends out a Rockruff- not again! Don't force me to defeat my rock puppy! Sadly, I must, and I do. Time to head into the cave. Inside, we meet Kukui, who has a Pikachu with him. He tells us there are four Pokemon here, two Jangmo-o and two Hakamo-o. Our job is to photograph them. He gives us the Poke Finder so we can snap pictures. It's in the shape of the Rotom Dex. Kukui lends us his Pikachu to use with Greninja. He tells us to find Jangmo-o first.

We're told we can move the camera with the Circle Pad and use R or A to snap a picture. You have 6 pictures before you run out of space each time you open the Finder. You can also use gyro controls but I won't do that here. But after snapping the picture, I startled the poor Jangmo-o and it attacks! Kukui tells us that snapping pictures of it will make it attack us. Thanks for the info ahead of time, cousin. We do battle with another one quickly. That takes care of Jangmo-o, now to deal with its evolution. As with its predecessor, Hakamo-o attacks! One more to go! Sounds like the last one is outside, so away we go.

This one turns out to be a huge Totem Hakamo-o! Its Special Defense went up and now it's time to fight! After one attack, it calls for aid, and a Rockruff appears beside it! Time for that Ash-Greninja fun, it seems. I deal with Rockruff, and now Greninja transforms!  I defeat our Totem opponent next and Greninja levels up! Kukui appears and gives us the Z-Ring as a gift, along with the Electrium Z, the Electric Z-Cryst! Hau appears and congratulates us before showing us we were being followed by Team Skull grunts and Plumeria, the Team Skull Admin, who promptly challenges us to a battle!

Kukui asks if we're going to use Ash-Greninja or Pikachu and its Z-Move.  I should probably use the Z-Power, for the sake of it. In fact, Pikachu gets sent out against her Golbat. Fitting. Time to use Gigavolt Havoc! As expected, Golbat goes down in just one hit, and Plumeria is defeated. Pikachu then goes back to Kukui, and Hau tells us that he wants to show us to the Masalada Shop, of course.  The game saves and a quick little video plays, saying that there's much more in the full game. It's over.

You can re-enter the demo several times like in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo, and bring gifts to the game when it comes out.

I had a ton of fun, this demo rocks! I hope you all try it out and have some fun with it, because I know I will. Thanks for reading and I will see you later! :D

Excitement!

I can't begin to express how excited I am for the demo of Sun and Moon. And now, there is info that, besides Greninja, you will also end up using a level 40 Pikachu that has a Z-Move. I almost want to hope to see or use starters, but if it's anything like the X and Y demo (that was only at some events, sadly), there won't be any. You can argue that it could be similar to how Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire did their demo, but the reason you got all the starter choices was due to them gaining Mega Evolution, and Mega Evolution was a key point to the plot, especially with Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. I would love to be able to use Litten/Torracat/whatever the final form is, but we'll just have to see what the demo holds tomorrow. Tomorrow's post will be all about the demo and everything that happens in it. I know it's going to be loads of fun!

Reminder for Tomorrow

So reminder that Pokenchi is tomorrow and there may or may not be new news regarding Sun and Moon. But if there's anything new posted on Serebii I'll be sure to talk about it. Otherwise I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today and I hope you're all able to find something to smile about! :)

Pokemon Sun and Moon: Amazing Evolutions!

Okay, so we have some awesome news today regarding Pokemon, mainly for evolutions. In general it's what we got in CoroCoro, but also more. Let's get straight into it. Also the Japanese trailer has nothing different to note, so of course that won't be talked about further.

So first, and the most exciting part, the official reveal of Silvally, the evolution of Type: Null. It's ability is RKS System, which changes its typing depending on the item held. And there is an item for every single type. Its new move, Multi Attack, changes type based on what type Silvally currently is, sort of like Oricorio's Revelation Dance, except instead of 4 different types, this has all 18. Super excited for this Pokemon because now I want to grab a Type: Null as soon as humanly possible in the game! I love it! (Plus with team building it can act as a special card if I need another type but don't know which Pokemon to use xD)

Next up are the evolutions of Jangmo-o: Hakamo-o and Kommo-o. We saw these in CoroCoro with Silvally. They are both Dragon/Fighting, and retain the Bulletproof and Soundproof abilities that Jangmo-o had. Kommo-o gains a new move called Clanging Scales, which does great damage, but lowers Defense. I have to say, these dragons look awesome, especially Kommo-o. Absolutely one of the best Dragon type Pokemon I have ever seen in these games, hands down, and I can't wait to see them in action when I play. Definitely reserved for a future team!

Next, surprisingly, we see Bounsweet evolve! Firstly, it evolves into Steenee, which turns Bounsweet into a more humanoid-ish little girl standing on two legs (compare it to the Ralts family for a better idea, in my opinion). It has the abilities Leaf Guard and Oblivious. Steenee evolves into Tsareena, which is another elegant final stage Grass Pokemon. It keeps Leaf Guard but gains the new ability Queenly Majesty, which blocks priority moves like Aqua Jet. Tsareena also gains the new move Trop Kick. The evolutions, like Bounsweet, remain pure Grass types. I don't know what to think about these two but I know they're gonna grow on me soon enough. I like them honestly.

Next, something I almost called last night, Cutiefly's evolution officially revealed. It is called Ribombee, and it has the abilities Honey Gather and Shield Dust, and remains Bug/Fairy. It also has a little scarf and it has a little smile, it's so cute! I definitely want to put this on another team one day.

Next is the official reveal of Alola Grimer and Alola Muk. They are confirmed Poison/Dark and I have already talked about Grimer. Muk, on the other hand, looks trippy and pretty menacing! Its colors constantly move in its animations, the green, yellow, and purple, and it has rock-like teeth throughout its body. Like this makes me want to use Muk because of how terrifying it now looks. They both have the abilities Poison Touch and Gluttony.

Next up, the reveal of Olivia, the Kahuna of Akala Island! There's not too much known about her from the trailer, save that she says all of her Pokemon are Rock types. Like Hala, she has 3 Pokemon. Her first one is a Nosepass (and is also in an Ultra Ball!). I should mention that in the Japanese trailer, she is also shown to have the Midnight form of Lycanroc. I don't know if her variant is version exclusive or not, but we'll find out eventually.

And finally, the official reveal of Ilima, the Normal Trial Captain, and the first one you face, according to what Serebii has said.

And that's it for this trailer update. A lot of awesome stuff as always, and the demo is only 4 days away! I'm so excited to talk about it and play it for ages. Tomorrow is the official release of CoroCoro so I doubt that anything new is going to appear, but I'll find something to talk about of course. Thanks a bunch for reading and I will see you later! :D

CoroCoro Update!

So it did update late last night, and it briefly confirms what was unconfirmed among a few other things, so let's look.

So first, Jangmo-o's two evolutions. The first is Jarango, and the last is Jararanga. They are both Dragon/Fighting and look really awesome! Like, probably the most awesome dragon I have seen on ages in Pokemon.

Next, Type: Null evolves into Silvadi, after, I assume, its happiness gets high enough. Serebii says "When Type: Null finds a trainer it trusts, it destroys its helmet and evolves into Silvadi." It stays Normal, but has an item called Memory, which lets it be one of the 18 types at any one time, thanks to its ability AR System. It has a new move called Multi Attack. I don't know how it's going to work but I can't wait! I was excited for Null, but now I REALLY want Silvadi!

Finally, a new Trial Captain was shown. Her name is Ilmia, and is the first Trial Captain, but her type specialty is unknown. The first town, in Japan, is known as Hauori City.

There's the quick update from yesterday! And tomorrow we get official news so I can't wait to see that! See you later! :D

Tentative CoroCoro Update

So this will be quick. I waited this long as most of the info doesn't have pictures to back it up, so some of it remains unconfirmed by Serebii until pictures surface. Let's get right to it.

So first, the only completely confirmed info. Grimer now has an Alola Form, which has it looking like a deep toxic green color, with yellow around the mouth that makes it look like it just ate some honey. And now it has two teeth. Why? Who knows! It is now Poison/Dark.

The first of the unconfirmed news. It mentions that Jangmo-o's evolution line is in the magazine, and is Dragon/Fighting. In Japan, Jangmo-o's evolution is called Jarango, and the final evolution is called Jararanga. Again, unconfirmed until Serebii gets pictures.

And finally, the same source says that Type: Null gains an evolution called Shiruvadi, and that it gains the ability AR System, which changes its type based on the item it holds.

These bits of info regarding Null and Jangmo-o sound awesome, but until pictures surface, it's unconfirmed. Tomorrow I'll update on this if the info becomes confirmed. Otherwise that will happen on Saturday when the CoroCoro comes out. As always, thanks for reading and I will see you later! :D

My Starter Pokemon Choices and Why

Late and brief post tonight, it's super chilly and my hands feel like icicles so let's get going!

In Kanto I always pick Bulbasaur, not just for the early advantage, but I always loved everything about it, and Ash's Bulbasaur was always pretty tough and cool, in my opinion. Plus, the Poison secondary typing is useful in a lot of ways, as well as being in my top 5 favorite types.

Cyndaquil I already talked about in a much earlier blog post, since it's so special to me that I gave it its own post.

In Hoenn I always grab Mudkip, because I have a lot of memories with it, especially when I brought my Swampert into Pokemon Colosseum, and it's just adorable with its derpy little face. Also I liked Mudkip before the meme started. *casually dons Hipster Glasses*

Another kind of anime inspiration, Chimchar was that Pokemon that always did its best no matter what, and all it wanted to do was be strong for Paul (and later Ash.). Chimchar was always fun to use and a blast to journey with.

Snivy is my big choice for Unova, jumping to my top 3 starter spot with Mudkip and being really important to me as a Trainer. I love how smug it is and all of the memes about Snivy make me laugh. I always look forward to getting that Serperior.

Froakie was actually the only starter I saw  myself using in Kalos, and boy was it a fun journey. One day I actually will try to hatch a shiny one, if only to get that sweet red and black Greninja!

And as with Cyndaquil, I have talked about Litten a lot so check other posts for the fire kitty.

Bonus, here are my nicknames for all of these buddies of mine:
Bulbasaur - Petals
Cyndaquil - Cinders
Mudkip - Kipper
Chimchar - Charcoal
Snivy - Coils
Froakie - Gaiden
Litten - Smokey

Katamari Damacy

So, after finally just achieving the platinum trophy for Katamari Forever, I wanted to just wanted to briefly talk about  Katamari Damacy, the first installment.

I had seen the opening of it used in videos about weird games and knew that PeanutButterGamer talked about it fondly. Technically, Katamari Forever was my first game in the series, but same difference. The games are fun, bright, and colorful, and very "Japanese," for lack of a better term, but in a good way. They have catchy music, nice visuals, silly humor, and the games are huge time-wasters, perfect for killing time in a fun way. I love this series and maybe one day if I decide to get an Xbox, I'll happen to get Beautiful Katamari.

All I know is that I am so glad to finally have the platinum for Katamari Forever, after 4 and a half years of owning the game. It feels wonderful to have finally beaten the Cowbear (people who have played the level in question will know exactly what I'm talking about.).

Next Week is a Pokemon Week

So, next week is supposed to bring some new news for Sun and Moon. CoroCoro will leak around the 12th or 13th typically. We get official news on the 14th at 22:00 JST. And CoroCoro officially comes out on the 15th. And then, according to Serebii, the Japanese show Pokenchi is meant to show new Sun and Moon footage, as well as a look at the Sun and Moon anime airing next month, on the 16th. The focus of this month's CoroCoro is the "true strength of Type: Null," so I am looking forward to that. So I hope you don't mind that next week will be a Pokemon week! See ya tomorrow!

Poll Winner and Some Info

Real quick post today, just to say that Okami won by 1 vote! So the next guide will be for Okami HD. Also, I'm not sure how well I can do polls using just my phone, so for now, no future polls. Instead, the guide after Okami will be Rune Factory, and we'll go from there, day by day. Also I want to thank all of you for helping to reach 1,000 pageviews on this blog! I really, really appreciate it, because 1,000 people, unique or not, looking at this blog for even one moment, means so much to me, so thank you all for your continued support!

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix Trophy Guide

Welcome to the trophy guide for Kingdom Hearts Final Mix! I won't take long but just be aware that there will be a lot of grinding and the platinum won't be an easy one. But without further ado, let's get started!

KINGDOM HEARTS Master Obtain all trophies.
As always, simply get every single other trophy to get this hard-earned platinum. Great job!

Proud Player Clear Final Mix on Proud.
Proud Mode is new to this version of Kingdom Hearts. A general rule is to make sure you go for defense early on. So be sure to pick the Dream Shield at the beginning of the game. If you really want magic, you can use items and Keyblades to get more. Also, always carry potions and be ready to fight alone and Dodge Roll a lot, because Goofy and Donald will be dying. A lot.

Final Mix Master Clear Final Mix.
The same strategies apply to the above trophy, but it's just not as hard. Even Proud Mode isn't too bad if you know how to play and make it through the game.

Novice Player Clear Final Mix on Beginner.
This is the first difficulty related trophy you should aim for, as the following 3 trophies will be way easier to obtain on Beginner. They even throw you accessories that give you extra EXP! Now that's easy!

Unchanging Armor Clear the game without changing equipment.
Best to do this one on your Beginner run, because using only the Kingdom Key in a more difficult mode is only going to be a challenge in itself. You can still mess with Donald and Goofy's stuff but Sora has to remain untouched. And having the extra EXP accessories will be a huge help.

Undefeated Clear the game without using a continue.
Again, do this on Beginner. If you do end up dying, just load your data, do not hit continue! Otherwise this one isn't too bad. Just be careful and pack potions, and always make sure that Cure is always ready.

Speedster Defeat the World of Chaos in the End of the World within 15 hours.
On Beginner again. Simply rush through the game. Luckily you can skip cutscenes in this version too. When I did my Beginner playthrough, I finished in about 11 hours, and yes, without changing my equipment. It's definitely not as difficult as you think but definitely go for this on Beginner.

He Who Doesn't Exist  Defeat the Mysterious Man in Hollow Bastion.
Defeating Zemnas is no simple feat, and since strategies vary, all I'll say is pack plenty of healing items and Elixirs. And Dodge Roll. And maybe even Guard. And of course, never forget Once More and Second Chance. Just learn his patterns and formulate a plan from there. Wait until you're at a very high level for this one.

The Cloaked Shadow Defeat the Phantom at the Clock Tower.
This battle is odd at first but you need Peter Pan to even access the boss. Bring Donald as this fight is about 90% magic. Bring plenty of Ethers as well. Start by casting Stop on the clock. Phantom will cast Doom on your party members and the clock will count down. If a member gets knocked out by Doom, they are out for the whole battle, so watch out! His heart will change colors, and you have to use the matching spell against him. Red for Fire, blue for Blizzard, yellow for Thunder, and white for physical strikes. Keep that clock stopped and outlast him for this trophy.

The Sandy Blade Defeat Kurt Zisa in Agrabah.
You want to bring Donald as this is another fight with magic, but only for one specific phase. Otherwise, as always, be high level, prepare for anything, and definitely summon Tinkerbell for this gruesome fight. I wonder how happy Kurt was when he saw what his name went to in that contest,  because his name went into a pretty tough boss!

Novice Hero Win the Phil Cup.
The easiest Cup, unlocked by sealing Traverse Town, will give you little to no problems, so go get 'em!

Artisan Hero Win the Pegasus Cup.
Unlocked after beating Monstro, this tourney isn't too bad. Just be careful against Leon and Yuffie in the end!

Hero of the Coliseum Win the Hercules Cup.
After finishing the second ring of areas, including Never Land and Halloween Town, you unlock this tournament. Nothing extremely hard, but watch out for Cloud in the middle and Herc himself at the end! Use the barrels to hurt Hercules!

Coliseum Champion Win the Hades Cup.
Unlocked near the end of the game, this final Cup has you finally defeat Hades near the end of the 50 seed tournament, and you face off against almost every other Olympus boss during it, as well as a Behemoth, Opposite Armor, Cloud and the gang, and the Rock Titan. Don't try this until you're higher leveled and ready for a long string of fights!

The Frosty Giant Defeat the Ice Titan in the Gold Match at Olympus Coliseum.
This one is something that makes you happy that Guard exists. Try to keep in one place at first and deflect his ice shards to damage him and gain tech points. DO NOT USE AERO, EVER! If you do, he makes his shards bigger and will damage you more. Keep deflecting, be ready to heal and glide, and good luck! If you can take the Rock Titan, you have a chance against his icy cousin.

One-Winged Angel Defeat Sephiroth in the Platinum Match at Olympus Coliseum.
Sephiroth has many strategies for many different people. Generally you want to be max level with your strongest Keyblade, best equipment you have, every -ga spell, especially Aeroga, and bring nothing but Elixirs. The biggest thing to watch out for is when he teleports far away, saying "Descend Heartless Angel!" If he completes his words, he will drop you to 1 hp and zero magic, and will promptly take you out if you're not ready. Just don't give up and you'll eventually overcome the SOLDIER 1st Class!

Supreme Soloist Complete any solo challenge.
If the Phil Cup gives you no issues, go it alone with Sora and this will quickly come to you.

Time Attacker Complete any time trial challenge.
Just do the time trial for the Phil Cup, easy. If you're worried, grind and come back when you can demolish any low-powered enemy.

Level Master Get Sora to Level 100.
If you don't have this by the time you're done hunting for Synthesis items, just grind. Try the Gizmo Shop, that's where I banged out a lot of levels in the end.

Treasure Hunter Open 100 treasure chests.
Easy, you'll get this before you even know it.

From Rags to Riches Obtain over 10,000 Munny.
If you haven't gotten this by the time you reach the end of the game, just grind in the End of the World. It won't take too long, really. This also means you must have 10,000 at one time, not cumulatively.

Heartless Hunter Defeat over 2,000 Heartless.
This will easily come as you grind Sora to level 100, if it hasn't popped before that point.

Where the Bells Toll Seal the keyhole in Traverse Town.
Upon your second visit to Traverse Town and after seeing Riku, you will be told to ring the bell above the Gizmo Shop. After revealing the keyhole you must defeat Opposite Armor to finally seal the keyhole!

The Rabbit Hole Seal the keyhole in Wonderland.
After hunting for Alice after she gets taken away, you eventually light some lights and return to the Bizarre Room, where the Cheshire Cat tells you that the shadows are here. Defeat the Trickmaster for your trophy.

Junior Hero Seal the keyhole in Olympus Coliseum.
This one requires some leg work, as you finally earn the Yellow Trinity upon winning the Phil, Pegasus, and Hercules Cups. After earning it, use it on that stone block in the lobby and you'll seal the keyhole.

Member of the Tribe Seal the keyhole in Deep Jungle.
Once you finally defeat Clayton and his Stealth Sneak, Kerchak tosses you by the waterfall. After climbing up the cave, you reach the last room, which holds the keyhole, which gets sealed during the silly scene.

Magic Lamp Seal the keyhole in Agrabah.
After you play tag with Jafar, you drop down to fight him in his Genie form, while attacking his lamp as Iago carries it around. Beat him to seal the keyhole. Bring along fire-resistant accessories if you have any!

Honest Soul Escape from Monstro.
Once you defeat the Parasite Cage with Riku's help (not really, he really just runs around and gets smacked.) you end up in the Mouth again. In a nearby chest is High Jump, which you use to reach the Bowels (eww). Once you defeat the Parasite Cage again and save Pinocchio, you are shot out of Monstro and the trophy is yours.

Master of the Seas Seal the keyhole in Atlantica.
After an annoying battle with Ursula in her lair, you chase her to a new arena with your new Dolphin Kick ability. You must fight a giant Ursula to save Atlantica and seal the keyhole, but watch those attacks. Bring Ariel with you so she can use her magic to aid you!

Pumpkin Prince Seal the keyhole in Haloween Town.
After defeating Oogie Boogie in his lair, you emerge to face his manor! Destroy the globs of darkness to win the battle and seal the keyhole!

Pixie Dust Seal the keyhole in Never Land.
After a battle with Captain Hook, you end up at the Clock Tower. Wendy tells you that one of the clock faces has the wrong time. Fix the hands and the trophy is yours after another scene.

End of the World Seal the keyhole in Hollow Bastion.
You will receive this after your 2nd visit once you save Kairi. You enter the final keyhole to defeat a massive Behemoth. After defeating it, this trophy is yours.

Pooh's Friend Seal the keyhole in 100 Acre Wood.
On your second visit to Traverse Town, you'll deliver a book to Merlin, given to you by Cid. Merlin tells you that the pages are missing and scattered through the worlds. Every new page opens a new section and mini game for you to play in. After the final page is placed, and the final game played, this trophy will be yours. Note that you can get the pages in any order you choose.

Traverse Town: Rescue 51 Dalmatians.
Agrabah: Dark Chamber in the Cave of Wonders.
Monstro: Chamber 6.
Halloween Town: Bookcase in the Doctor's Lab.
Atlantica: Ariel's Grotto.

Record Keeper Collect all Jiminy's Journal entries.
If you're going for 100%, then this will come to you naturally. Just be sure to beat all of the optional bosses and the exclusive Final Mix Heartless, as you won't get the Character entries without them, as well as the Ansem Reports. You'll get these Journal trophies as you work on levels and Synthesis, more than likely.

Synthesis Master Synthesize all items.
Much like the gummi ship trophies, this is one you might end up getting last, along with the other Synthesis trophies. Anyonr who's played the original knows how annoying this is. However, now there are exclusive Final Mix enemies that are the only way to get certain drops. I myself used guides and the KH Wiki in order to defeat these enemies and spawn them. As for the rest, you might end up getting them while grinding Sora to level 100, as that doesn't happen super fast. Best of luck, because this has always been a doozy.

Gummi Ship Collector Obtain all gummi ship blueprints.

Flying Ace Shoot down over 2,500 enemies with your gummi ship.
You'll get this naturally if you don't use Warp Drive. But also during the gummi missions as well. Keep on shooting!

Customizer Modify a gummi ship and update the data.
Easy. You'll get this en route towards your gummi ship trophies, or during the story if you ever want to update your ship.

Top Gun Clear all gummi ship routes.
So this one is definitely going to take some doing. Just about every world has 3 gummi ship missions with varying objectives. In order to earn this trophy, along with the gummi mission trophies and blueprints, you must complete every single mission. It is very daunting.

I won't lie, I followed a guide on YouTube by the user ItsGamingFancy. He has a video series detailing optimal ships and tactics for every mission and it is a fantastic guide for this trophy. If you can't seem to get those missions down, definitely check out his videos, they are amazing, so huge thank you to him for making those videos!

Oathkeeper Obtain the Oathkeeper Keyblade.
This one can't be missed. After escaping from Hollow Bastion with Kairi, you end up in Traverse Town. After some scenes, talk to her and she'll give you her lucky charm, which becomes Oathkeeper. Easy enough right?

Blade Master Obtain all Keyblades.
I won't list every single one, as most are earned through the story. I will list the ones that require some work. Here we go!
Wishing Star: Traverse Town, in a chest in Gepetto's House after completing Monstro.
Spellbinder: Obtain all first tier spells. After Sora mentions being on-par with Donald, talk to Merlin.
Metal Chocobo: Defeat Cloud in the Hercules Cup.
Olympia: Complete all Cups and you can open the chest in the Lobby in Olympus Coliseum.
Lionheart: Defeat Leon and Cloud in the Hades Cup.
Oblivion: Hollow Bastion, in a chest in the room where you fight Riku for the last time.
Lady Luck: White Trinity in Wonderland.
Divine Rose: Talk to Belle in Hollow Bastion after sealing the keyhole.
Diamond Dust: Defeat the Ice Titan.
One-Winged Angel: Defeat Sephiroth.
Ultima Weapon: Synthesis.

Master Magician Obtain all staves.

Lord Fortune: Talk to Fairy Godmother after obtaining all summons.
Dream Rod: Talk to Merlin after obtaining all -ga spells.
Violetta: White Trinity in Olympus Coliseum.
Save the Queen: Hades Cup Solo Run.
Fantasista: Synthesis.
Meteor Strike: Chest in Giant Crevasse in End of the World.

Master Defender Obtain all shields.
Stout Shield, Mythril Shield, Golem Shield, Onyx Shield, Smasher, Gigas Fist, and Adamant Shield: Purchase at Traverse Town.
Genji Shield: Defeat Yuffie in Hades Cup.
Defender: Dropped by Defender Heartless.
Herc's Shield: Defeat Hercules in Hercules Cup.
Dream Shield: Talk to Merlin after obtaining all spell arts.
Save the King: Hades Cup Time Trial.
Mighty Shield: Chest in World Terminus at End of the World.
Seven Elements: Synthesis.

And that's every trophy! This was really hard to do on just my phone but I really hope you like it anyway! As always thanks so much for your time, it means so much to me, and as always I will see you later! :D

Kingdom Hearts (Final Mix)

Ah, Kingdom Hearts, the very first game I ever played on my PS2. And the first of many games in quite a wonderful series of games. I received this game with my PS2, along with the first Jak & Daxter game ages ago. I remember seeing commercials for Kingdom Hearts, back when Square was still called Square Soft. It was a strange mix of Disney and non-Disney characters. Strange and odd idea, right? Definitely. But man did it succeed in so many ways.

I remember it being my first RPG, actually. Or at the very least, my first non-Zelda RPG. But I had a ton of fun with it and I had more fun going through it once again in the updated Final Mix version when I received it nearly a year ago for my birthday last year, courtesy of my sister and my brother-in-law. There's a lot I love about the game, but I would be a broken record once again. But if you have never played a Kingdom Hearts game, I definitely recommend it. You will NOT regret it at all. I hope you all look forward to tomorrow's trophy guide on the Final Mix version and I will see you later! :D

New Pokemon News! It's a Big One!

Okay so I just got back from having coffee and flipping out over starter evolutions and I regret that I can't use pictures right now but I'll try to describe the Pokemon as best I can. As usual this is going off of the English trailer so anything I miss from the Japanese trailer doesn't count here. Let's begin!

Firstly, starter evolutions. We first see Rowlet's evolution, Dartrix. It retains the same ability and type as Rowlet and is taller with longer wings, and its brown colors become darker. Its eyes close and from the trailer all I have to say is that it looks very posh/sophisticated, but I like the charm. It also does a hair flip during one of its idle poses. Sounds fun to me! I like this, it really fits Rowlet, if you ask me. I can't wait to get one eventually.

Okay bias time! Yay! Litten evolves into Torracat. As with Dartrix, Litten grows bigger, and now sports longer whiskers and the fur shape on its head becomes bigger and a bit sharper. Its front paws grow claws and its underside is .more red than black. It also gains markings on its back similar to the ones on its face. It also gains a yellow, orb-like thing on its neck, almost where the bell would be on a collar if you put one on a cat. In battle, it stands proud and looks ready to fight. I REALLY love Torracat, it makes me want this game even more so I can get ny fire kitty! Come on Sun and Moon, come out already!!

Lastly, Popplio. Now in my opinion, Popplio is receiving the Chespin treatment, where its second form may not look great but I believe the final form will make up for it. I do believe, however, that Brionne looks cute. It just looks so happy and I do think that adds to the charm. Its ears form two white bubbles on the ends, and its shade of blue turns into aqua. Its eyes become a bit more feminine with the eyelashes, and the end of its paws and fins now turns white. It looks like it has a white dress on, which looks closer to maybe.. 3 tutus, if I had to make a quick look. I still think it looks really cute, just like Popplio and I know its final evolution is going to look wonderful as well!

That's all for the Pokemon. Next is the Festival Plaza feature. If I had to compare, think of Black and White 2's Join Avenue, because that is exactly what it reminds me of. In it, you can meet the player avatars of other players and fulfill their requests to gain Festival Coins, or FC. And the names of buildings sound generic and have up to 5 stars, very similarly to Join Avenue. FC can be used in many different shops, such as a shop to raise Effort Values or shopping at a General Store. We already know that we can use them to buy clothes as well, as a previous trailer showed clothing examples with a little box that mentioned Festival Coins. I really loved the concept of Join Avenue so  I'm really looking forward to this!

Next, possibly my favorite new feature, is Poke Pelago, a paradise for the Pokemon in your PC Boxes. The Pokemon in your PC Boxes can come to the Pelago whenever they please. We're shown 3 of the islands and are told how they function. First is Isle Abeens, where you can attract wild Pokemon and they might join your game. It shows a wild Pikipek wanting to join the player's team after gaining your attention. Next is Isle Aphun, where your Pokemon can go and search for valuable items, like evolution stones. Finally is Isle Evelup, where Pokemon train, kind of like Super Training, as it shows drinks you can make to raise the stats of your Pokemon, as well as their exp. I think this is something they should have had ages ago, as I always feel bad for the many Pokemon sitting in my Boxes. Now they can have fun too, and I love it!

Next, the feature I never doubted, Mega Evolution is back. Dexio mentions how the Z-Ring helps the feelings of a trainer reach their Pokemon and says that it will also help achieve Mega Evolution works so I don't need to spell it out for everyone. I knew it would be here to stay though.

Finally, the most exciting news, the Special Demo Version is coming out on October 18th, one month before the games officially release, just as they did the demo for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. In it, you adventure through with a Greninja with the new ability, Battle Bond. After defeating a Pokemon, Greninja turns into Ash-Greninja! It then says you can transfer your Ash-Greninja into the full version of your game, which is awesome because I always loved Greninja and its anime counterpart which was just always really awesome.

That's all for Pokemon news. I'm extremely excited for everything and I can't wait to talk about the demo! Thanks for reading like always, be sure to vote in the poll before Thursday! And tomorrow will be about the game that Thursday's guide is on. Thanks again and I will see you later! :D

Post 50!

Wow, 50 posts already? I'm honestly surprised I even kept it going this long. I'm.. a huge procrastinator to be completely honest, I often want to do things I think would be fun but more often than not I end up losing interest quickly or just over time. This is something I never want to lose interest in, or if I do, I don't want it to happen for a long time.

So, to everyone who reads this blog or to anyone who simply talks about it or glances at it briefly, thank you. I appreciate every single moment any of you give to me and this blog. It means so much more than you know. Looking forward to talking about Pokemon news tomorrow, and as always, I will see you later! :D

Random Game Moment

Have you ever had a moment in games that just make you laugh a lot or make you wonder how you did it? For me, that moment was dduring my brief time playing Resident Evil 4 on PS2. It was the first level that the Merchant has the shotgun, so after buying it, I used it. 4 zombies closed in on me and I tried aiming at one. I fired too soon but somehow shot off all 4 of their heads in that one shot! I don't know how I did it but you can bet I laughed about it for a while!
