So I wanted to try something silly for this week's poll. Groundhog Day happens in a week on February 2nd, and it's used as a sort of prediction. If the groundhog emerges from its den and sees its shadow, Winter will continue for another 6 weeks and it will retreat into its den. However, if it does not see its shadow, Spring will be coming soon.
Now, to be completely honest, I'm pretty sure we'll have 6 weeks of Winter left, regardless, as Spring doesn't start until March anyways, typically on the 21st. But I think for the kids, it's a fun little activity for trying to see how much longer it'll be until Spring finally arrives. And I guess if you're into weather prediction or... whatever you'd like to call it, it can interest you.
So I wants us to vote for the next week to see if we can predict what's going to happen on Groundhog Day. It ends in a week, and we'll see how our votes stack up against the actual prediction. See you again soon!
