The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

That tagline was in the commercials, I believe. The whole "Be Billy, be Mandy, be Grim. Just don't behave!" line. Either way, this show is actually my 2nd favorite cartoon, literally just under Ed, Edd n' Eddy. Like.. extremely close 2nd. But as I'm sure you can tell, it's a 4-player fighting game of sorts. However, despite it being close to Smash Bros., it's not an attempt at some kind of carbon copy like a certain other Cartoon Network fighting game. Sure, there are elements that make it feel like Smash, but I'll get to those in a bit.

I, of course, enjoy playing through areas of the show, like the Underworld and other locales of Endsville. And of course, the music from the show is ever-present. There's a story mode where you can play as any character you've unlocked, and typically beating their story mode unlocks a new skin for them to use whenever you play as them in any mode. And there's even a Mission Mode, where most of the unlockables come from. It's just all very fun and I love playing it.

One thing, however, that will definitely make you feel like it's Smash Bros,. is the Mojo Meltdowns. As you battle, you'll see purple orbs, and when you collect them a bar will start to fill up under your life bar. Filling it up once will allow you to do a special attack that can instantly KO someone if you hit them with it. However, if you fill it up a 2nd time, you can unleash a special attack that is guaranteed to defeat every opponent, no ability to dodge. These will feel like Final Smashes at first glance, but since you need some level of control to defeat everyone in a single Final Smash, it's a little different. It's something, you know?

But that's all there is to this game, really. It's a silly little game based on Billy and Mandy and I really wish the show wasn't over, just like EEnE, but ah well. It was still amazing while it lasted, and this game is still a lot of fun as well. Thanks for reading and tomorrow will be a special little surprise.
