Sly 2: Band of Thieves Trophy Guide

Welcome to the trophy guide for Sly 2! It's pretty straightforward like the previous game, but with a few slightly trickier ones dotted along the way. You'll need to grind some coins but since you don't need to get EVERYTHING from ThiefNet, you can save your coins for the things you really need. Let's get right to it!

Unlikely Bandit Unlock all Sly Cooper and the Band of Thieves trophies.
You know the drill by now. I can't just give the platinum to you, but a thief, such as yourself, should have no problem stealing all of the trophies to get that shiny platinum.

Art Snob Replace a painting undercover.
You'll receive this after bugging Dimitri's office in Episode 1.

Gotta Find Um All! Collect 15 clue bottles.
See Soda Popped.

Bottle Capped Collect 20 clue bottles.
See Soda Popped.

Soda Popped Collect 30 clue bottles.
Just collect all of the clue bottles in one episode to get all of these trophies. Even though any guide out there will tell you to turn off music to hear the "Tink" sounds better, the ambience is still there so some sounds might drown out the gentle tinks. If you're really having trouble, definitely consult a video walkthrough for a better look at where they are.

You Look Great In Pink Purchase the Diablo Fire Slam from ThiefNet.
The Diablo Fire Slam costs 2,100 coins and is available when you reach Episode 8.

Rocking It Shell Style Purchase the Hover Pack from ThiefNet.
The Hover Pack costs 1,200 coins and is available when you reach Episode 6.

Pink Fire Flop Purchase the Raging Inferno Flop from ThiefNet.
The Raging Inferno Flop costs 1,150 coins and is available once you reach Episode 5.

Big Spender Purchase the Paraglider from ThiefNet.
The Paraglider costs 600 coins and is available once you reach Episode 5. This trophy is impossible to miss, you need the Paraglider to progress in the story.

Fiery Fox Escape from Carmelita.
Obtained after the Prologue.

Learn To Fox Trot Dance with Carmelita.
Obtained after dancing with Carmelita in the final mission in Episode 2. I hope you practiced your moves beforehand.

Spider Legs Pickpocket 3 items from Contessa.
Obtained after Sly pickpockets items from Contessa. Be careful with those guards following her!

Loot Pockets Collect 100 coins.
See Loot!

Jail Bird Break out Carmelita from Contessa.
Obtained during Episode 5's heist after Bentley hacks the nearby machine to release Carmelita.

Jailed Cotton Candy Pickpocket 3 keys from Carmelita in Canada.
Obtained in Episode 6 after freeing Murray from being captive.

Bear Hug Cause a bear fight in Canada.
Obtained in Episode 6 after taking two bear cubs to the caged rail-car and making them fight.

Heads Or Tails Collect 500 coins.
See Loot!

Train Jumper Hack the train.
Obtained in Episode 4 as you help Sly escape from "The Hole."

He Is Flaming Purchase the Fist of Flames from ThiefNet.
The Fist of Flames cost 400 coins and are available starting in Episode 1.

Someone Call A Doctor? Purchase the Snooze Bomb from ThiefNet.
The Snooze Bomb costs 550 coins and is available starting in Episode 3.

Artful Dodger Purchase the Combat Dodge from ThiefNet.
The Combat Dodge costs 600 coins and is available starting in Episode 2.

Reptilian Robber Defeat Dimitri.
He seems tough but once you have his pattern down, he's easy. Keep a distance as he shoots at you and start running after his 3rd shot, as the 4th will misfire and leave him open. Just watch out for his attacks. Repeat until you win!

Upset Stomach Shoot down Neyla to help out Sly.
If you're good at mashing the Square button to shoot, this will be a piece of cake!

Watch Out It's Spicy Defeat Rajan.
This really does come down to simply watching how he moves when he attacks, then hitting him while he's open. If you can punch him into the electrical barrier, he'll take a bit of extra damage, so try to get his back to the wall if you can!

Creepy Crawly Defeat Contessa #1.
Dodge and smack, that's pretty much his this battle goes. Dodge when she swipes at you, then whack away. Repeat.

More Creepy Crawlies Defeat Contessa #2.
Same process as before, just keep your distance so you don't get hypnotized if she does her hypnosis attack!

Exact Change Collect 1,000 coins.
See Loot!

Tummy Trouble Collect Clockwerk's stomach.
Obtained very shortly after Upset Stomach.

Gold Medal Winner Defeat Jean Bison.
This is a matter of reflexes. I found that an easy way to take care of him it to abuse the knockback of the sawblades, as if he's positioned in the spot where the blades stop, you can hit him several times in quick succession, making this battle a lot quicker.

Moose Head Steal the moose costume for Murray.
Obtained in Episode 7 as you attempt to get info on the Northern Light Battery.

Rise and Shine Purchase the Alarm Clock from ThiefNet.
The Alarm Clock costs 600 coins and is available starting in Episode 4. As with the Paraglider, this gadget is mandatory to finish the game.

Loot! Collect 1,500 coins.
Break everything you possibly can. 1,500 seems like a lot but you'll get it sooner than you think. Also pickpocket any guard with a shiny pocket for extra loot to sell on ThiefNet. And look out for treasures on pedestals out in the field.

Tick-Tock Defeat Clock-La.
The first phase, as Carmelita's gunner, is a matter of just shooting Clock-La and shooting the missiles she fires at you. When she fires rings at you, shoot the ring to stop the electricity so you don't take damage. Just keep shooting and be careful.

After, you have to chase Clock-La down and destroy her eyes to land on the ground below, netting you this trophy.

Remote Trigger Purchase the Trigger Bomb from ThiefNet.
The Trigger Bomb costs 200 coins and is available from Episode 1. Strangely, this very easy trophy is a gold one. Not too sure why.

Sneaky Purchase the Silent Obliteration from ThiefNet.
The Silent Obliteration costs 1,300 coins and is available starting in Episode 6.

Bird Dentist Use Murray's strength to open Clock-La's mouth.
You're better off watching this emotional moment for yourself. It still gets me every time...

And that's all for the trophy guide! Everything is generally straightforward so this should, again, be an easy platinum. I hope it helps you and I'll see you again soon!

*This platinum took me a total of 1 day and 14 hours, from the first trophy to the platinum. My first trophy was "Loot Pockets," which was achieved on April 11th, 2017 at 10:28 PM. My final trophy was "Bird Dentist," which was achieved on April 13th, 2017 at 1:02 PM along with the platinum, "Unlikely Bandit." This platinum trophy is the 56th platinum I have received.*

Have a nice day!~
