Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Trophy Guide

Welcome to the trophy guide for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, currently the last Sly game thus far! These trophies will be a bit more difficult than the other 3 Sly games, so let's get right into it and let's get thieving!

As a note, if the collection-based trophies give you any trouble, definitely check out some videos on YouTube to have some nice guides. Personally I recommend HappyThumbsGaming, as their videos were very easy to follow and they explain everything in a nice, easy-to-follow way, so I highly recommend them if you're struggling a bit, as that's what I did!

Mask and Stripes Forever Collect every bronze, silver, and gold trophy.
As always, grab every single trophy in order to grab this shiny platinum!

Family Matters Rescue Sly's long lost Cooper relative in Episode 1.
Obtained after you rescue Rioichi Cooper.

Low Calorie Sushi Complete all the jobs and beat the boss in Episode 1.
Self-explanatory. El Jefe isn't that difficult once you get his attacks down. But more on that in a later trophy linked to his battle.

Play It Safe Unlock the Cooper Safe in Episode 1.
See Quarter Cruncher.

Gunslinger Reunite with Sly's long lost Cooper relative in Episode 2.
Obtained after you rescue Tennessee-Kid Cooper.

Dust Bunnies Complete all jobs and beat the boss in Episode 2.
Self-explanatory. Toothpick isn't all that hard either, it just comes down to learning his patterns and knowing how to take him down, but it shouldn't be too hard if you're familiar with using the Prisoner costume.

Put It In Your 401K Unlock the Cooper Safe in Episode 2.
See Quarter Cruncher.

Bigfoot For Real Track down Sly's long lost Cooper relative in Episode 3.
Obtained after you rescue Bob (That's what name they end up agreeing on calling him).

Bearcicle Complete all the jobs and beat the boss in Episode 3.
Self-explanatory. The Grizz is more of a rhythm-based boss, for the most part. Just keep moving to avoid his attacks and make sure to jump over those shockwaves. When he send down a circular wall with ice blocks in them, punch the blocks to hit him, but watch out for falling icicles!

Savings Account Unlock the Cooper Safe in Episode 3.
See Quarter Cruncher.

Boom Stick Introduce Sly to his long lost Cooper relative in Episode 4.
Obtained after helping out Sir Galeth Cooper.

I Believe the Time Is Now Complete all the jobs and beat the boss in Episode 4.
Self explanatory. See I Need A Mouse Trap for boss info.

Zenny, Gil, or Just Loot Unlock the Cooper Safe in Episode 4.
See Quarter Cruncher.

I Need A Mouse Trap Meet up with an old adversary.
Obtained during the confrontation with Penelope in Episode 4. She's not as difficult as you might think, as the first half is just a test of your archery skills using Sky's costume. In the second half, as Bentley, you mainly just need to watch for her attacks. Be sure to defend yourself and dodge her attacks. Dodging isn't hard so once you dodge her, give her a few good punches with your mech and you'll have her beat in no time.

Keep Your Turban On Make friends with Sly's long lost Cooper relative in Episode 5.
Obtained after rescuing Salim Al Kupar.

Home Sick Complete all the jobs and beat the boss in Episode 5.
Self-explanatory. Ms. Decibel's battle is, of course, easier than it looks. All you do throughout is make your way to her by whatever means the game tosses at you before you whack her with Sly's cane. Eventually, you have to get through her flurry of attacks before making her ram into small electrical towers to finish her off!

Check Please Unlock the Cooper Safe in Episode 5.
See Quarter Cruncher.

Online Shopping Make your first purchase on ThiefNet.
See PayDay.

Sparrow Approves Use the compass many times to navigate.
You use the compass by clicking the left analog stick (Or, as it's commonly said, hit the L3 button) and it helps you find your way to your next destination, as well as reminding you where the Safe House is, where a job beacon is, or where the Cooper Safe is when you have all 30 clue bottles in an episode. You'll be using it a lot, but if you don't have this through normal play, just keep clicking the stick until the trophy pops.

Wardrobe Malfunction Unlock your first change of clothing.
See Costume Party.

Costume Party Obtain every costume in the game.
Impossible to miss, as all 5 costumes are required to progress in the game. You'll obtain this after getting the Thief costume in Episode 5.

Cooper Calling Card Collect your first hidden Sly mask.
See Mark Your Territory.

Oh Look It's Shiny Pickpocket 10 unique items.
See Hassan Would Be Proud.

Child Of the 80's Beat the top high score of one hideout arcade.
See 8-Bit Bentley Style.

What's Behind Door Number One? Unlock a costume gate in any episode.
A costume gate is, as you'd expect, a gate that opens after you use a certain costume to reach it. The earliest you can obtain this is in Episode 1 after obtaining Sly's Samurai costume. Using the costume, you can find a door that shoots fireballs, and you can use the costume to deflect it back at the door and open it. There are treasures behind each costume door, so if you're going for 100% completion, you'll need to find them all.

Arcade Operator Repair any arcade machine.
See Quarter Cruncher.

Clockwerk Collector Collect over 20 treasures.
See Quarter Cruncher.

Apollo Wins Have the perfect workout during the Training Montage.
While Murray is helping Bob become a lot stronger and more fit, you'll go through a montage of the different minigames you just played in random order until it ends. You can't make a single mistake during it. If you mess up, just pause and reload the checkpoint. If you didn't make any mistakes during the normal minigames, you should be perfectly fine here.

Get To the Chopper Don't take any damage during Up In Smoke.
Use the L1 button to get away from the missiles when they shoot at you. Again, if you get hit, just reload the checkpoint and keep trying.

The Cooper Open Have a 20 hit rally with Bentley in each hideout.
When I first played this, I thought it simply meant to just watch Sly and Bentley play ping pong, but nope, you have to select it in order for it to happen. Sly and Bentley need to both hit the ball 10 times in order for you to have a 20 hit rally. Simply do this in every hideout and this trophy is yours.

Cheers Don't miss a single glass of sarsaparilla in Saloon Bug.
Not as hard as it sounds. Just be careful when you get about halfway through, as the patrons will want 2-3 cups of the stuff. Always make sure you throw the sarsaparilla at the patrons in order of when they appear, because you don't want to risk them losing their temper and you losing a try.

Navigate Like Drake Take a look at every map in every episode.
Sounds easy, but this means every new building you enter and every hub, including the Paris Prologue AND Epilogue! Simply look at your map each time you enter a new location and you'll have this by the end of the game.

Hubba Hubba Don't miss a beat in the Carmelita dance game.
If you did a nice job during the Murray rhythm dance game in Episode 1, you should have no trouble here. Just follow the beats and don't mess up. If you do, just reload checkpoint!

Lunch Money Slam 100 enemies with Murray.
As Murray, simply hit Circle, then hit Triangle to slam an enemy down. A great place to farm this is in Episode 4 while inside the tavern, as enemies will spawn endlessly until you finish the mission!

Unexpected Package Place 60 bombs in enemy pockets with Bentley.
This can be ANY type of bomb. Simply hold Triangle and let the bomb go into the guard's pocket. Typically, said guard will panic as the bomb gets ready to detonate, so make sure you get  a little distance so you're not blown up either!

Waddle Waddle Shoot 40 penguins with Carmelita.
In Episode 3, choose Carmelita as soon as the game lets you play as her. Each time you leave the hideout, 10 penguins will spawn on the map. After shooting 10 of them, simply reload the checkpoint and continue until you have the trophy.

Airborne Paraglide for at least 10 seconds without using any geysers!
This can be done in a few episodes, such as the huge nest in Episode 3, or the very tall towers in Episode 5. Whatever the case, climb to the top of the tower and Paraglide off of it. As long as you're in the air for 10 seconds, the trophy will pop.

Ancient Warfare 3 Crackshot 10 enemies within 65 seconds.
After obtaining Tennessee's cane, you can use his Crackshot ability (Which will look extremely familiar to anybody who's played Red Dead Redemption). Simply use it on 10 enemies in 65 seconds to obtain the trophy. Try to use it in a crowd of enemies to ensure you have enough time to kill 10 in 65 seconds.

Crazed Climber Scale the dragon lair in under 90 seconds.
Provided your reflexes are good enough, you can easily get this on the first try, as this segment isn't all that difficult. If you fail, try the job again to restart the climb.

Golden Arrow Complete the archery minigame without hitting any friendly targets.
Simply take your time and avoid any friendly targets. As long as you don't rush and you aim carefully, you'll have no problem getting this trophy.

Downgrade Complete any Alter Ego without leveling up once.
Try this in Episode 1, where the stage isn't too long or crazy. Simply don't collect 5 yellow ions, or any big orange one, and stay Level 0 the entire way through. If you mess up, restart checkpoint!

Radical Ninja Stealth kill 15 enemies without alerting anyone.
It's honestly as easy as you think. Do this to isolated enemies, or just any enemies you can, and this will pop before you know it.

PayDay Purchase every item in ThiefNet.
There are 59 total items to purchase, all for the price of 32,500 coins. You can get this as you go through the game, or save up a TON of coins and buy everything in bulk (I recommend buying stuff as you go, personally).

Hero Tech Battle with a secret weapon.
This requires 50 Sly masks. When you get them, go to the unlockables section of the Extras menu and turn the Secret Weapon on. As Sly, hit someone with the weapon to get the trophy.

Cloud City Defeat El Jefe on each tower without losing any health.
You cannot lose ANY health throughout the ENTIRE sequence. This means falling to your doom and getting hit with fireballs on the way to El Jefe. With enough practice, you'll have this down easily!

Hassan Would Be Proud Pickpocket a full collection of every item in the game.
Every episode has 3 special items to pickpocket. One worth 100 coins, one worth 200, and one worth 500. It's always random which one you'll get, but the coins are worth it. Simply pickpocket any guard with a shining pocket. For the rats in Paris, make sure you purchase Murray's ability to pickpocket through shaking, as you encounter rats later in the game!

Quarter Cruncher Unlock all 6 arcade machines.
An arcade cabinet is unlocked by collecting all of the treasures in each Episode. Some are easy to find, some are not. Some require your costumes. You CANNOT obtain every treasure unless you have all 5 costumes! Also note that each of the treasures within each Safe in each Episode count towards this, so you need those too!

Mark Your Territory Collect all the hidden Sly Masks.
Like treasures, these are found scattered throughout each Episode, and some within jobs, so keep an eye out. There are 60 in total, so definitely keep an eye out!

8-Bit Bentley Style Beat every hideout arcade's top high score.
This will take some doing, but really, you just have to test your skills. There are secret portals in the Alter Ego games that get you more points and a Sly Mask, so keep an eye out for those! If you need better help, definitely look up some helpful videos.

Final Chapter? Complete every job and beat every boss in all the episodes.
Obtained after finishing the game. Le Paradox is a lot easier than everyone else, as his battle almost entire consists of quick-time events, but without extremely stupid time constraints, so just be ready to hit any button that pops up and finish the game!

And that's it for the Sly Cooper games. I had a lot of fun recently revisiting all of them in order to make these trophy guides (Sly 4 was done in 2013, but I need to revisit it so I could remember everything, you know?), and I hope you're able to obtain 4 shiny platinum trophies out of these guides. Thanks so much for reading and I'll see you again soon!

*This game took me a total of 3 days and 17 hours to finish, from my first trophy to the platinum. My first trophy was "Cooper Calling Card" which was achieved on October 25th, 2013 at 10:59 PM. My final trophy was "Navigate Like Drake" which was achieved on October 19th, 2013 at 4:38 PM, along with the platinum, "Mask and Stripes Forever." This platinum trophy is the 12th platinum trophy I have received.*

Have a nice day!~
