Gain Ground

So this is a game I never even knew about until Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, and boy is it addicting. Even if all of the 50 levels are really short and easy, it's still kind-of-strategy-heavy. Kind of. Your goal on each map is to either get all of your characters to the EXIT spot, or kill all of the enemies on the map. If someone dies, they become a miniature version of themselves. You can save them by touching them and bringing them to the EXIT. This is also how you gain more characters on the field. Each character acts as a life.

I love how every character has their own little quirks that make them more unique. Like sure there are multiple characters who use a bow, but each one uses it differently. Some are faster, some shoot farther, etc. It's all up to you to discover everyone and their abilities. For example, one character is a robot who shoots missiles but is dangerously slow, so it gets hit more often unless you're on the move constantly. It's still a lot of fun.

That's pretty much all there is to it though. Simple game, but all 50 levels can still eat up maybe 1-2 hours, and the soundtrack is very catchy as well. As always, thanks for reading!

Have a nice day!~
