Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Trophy Guide

Boy, I bet that title just rolls right off your tongue, doesn't it? But hello! Welcome to the trophy guide for Epic Mickey 2, the game that I feel that not many people love, but I do because I love everything, for the most part. I already went into detail on how much I love Epic Mickey in the previous post, so let's get right into that guide, shall we? It's not a difficult platinum if you have a guide, which I did because I knew that certain quests were pretty time sensitive, and it took me 2 playthroughs to get this platinum. One to do EVERYTHING and be a good guy with Paint, and then a quick once-over with Thinner to get the final trophy. This 2nd playthrough was done in a single day, but I skipped cutscenes and rushed, so that helped too. Anyways, enough blabbering away from me, let's go!

*The following link is to a wonderful Perfectionist guide done by smartbomb on PS3T. All credit goes to them for this super helpful guide that made Perfectionist a simple checklist with a lot of good details. I know I mention their guide often in this post, but it truly is better than me trying to think of how to explain every quest when someone else did it better. Again, all credit goes to smartbomb for that awesome guide.*

Can I Get a Pin of That? Earn all other trophies in the game.
As always, grab all of the other trophies to nab this shiny pin- I mean platinum!

Apprentice Pin Collector Acquired a Collectible Pin for the first time.
You'll find Pins everywhere, so this trophy is actually not able to be missed.

Blot Alley Superstar Befriended the Blotworx and helped Petetronic.
You have to befriend EVERY enemy here and make sure nobody in Blot Alley sounds an alarm. This also goes for friendly fire, none of the enemies can die, through your hand, Oswald's remote, or 'friendly' fire. Have a backup save, just in case, and be sure that Ghost Ian gives you the unique pin too!

Clear! Mickey revived Oswald while playing co-op.
Easily done, simply let Oswald get defeated while using a 2nd controller, then let Mickey revive him. Simple!

Devoted Pin Collector Found 88 Collectible Pins.
See Master Pin Collector.

Dragon Defeat Defeated the Blotworx Dragon.
Not missable, this is the first boss of the game!

Dressed to Impress Collected every Costume.
It takes a while, but after getting all the costume pieces, be it from chests or buying them from Mean Street, you'll win this trophy!

Dress-up Changed costumes for the first time.
After collecting all of the pieces of a costume, you can put the costume on, and each one has different uses and benefits. The first time you do this, this trophy is yours.

Fall From Grace Entered Angel Falls, exited Devil Falls.
You must get to the Angel Statue and use Oswald to slowly fly your way down to the lava maze. At the end is a crank that, when used, opens the mouth of the Devil Statue. Head inside this D.E.C to earn this trophy.

Film Buff Collected every 2D Film Reel.
Every Projector Screen has 2 different routes to take, based on the position of the Mickey head on the screen. There are 16 Projectors, so there's 16 Reels. Get all of them for the trophy to pop!

Fortified Scouted a path through Fort Wasteland.
Story related, can't be missed.

Full-court Prescott Chased Prescott through the Floatyard.
Story related, can't be missed.

Go with the Flow Solved OsTown's Thinner problem.
Story related, can't be missed.

Who Left These Lying Around? Rescued all the gremlins.
You have to rescue all of the gremlins. The trophy is tied to a mission, so check the Perfectionist Guide I linked above for more details.

Get with the Program Reprogrammed a Beetleworx.
Beetleworx look identical to ostriches. This is simple, wait for one to come close to you, but don't attack. When you see the O button prompt, hit it and Oswald will reprogram the machine. Done and done.

Hard Hat Area Got through Ventureland's construction area.
Story related, can't be missed.

Heads Up Matched Seth's flowers to OsTown's statue.
This trophy is tied to a mission, check the guide for better details.

Heroes of Wasteland Built both statues in OsTown.
Tied to a mission for Perfectionist. Check the guide.

Junker Destroyed 50 enemies.
See Thinderella.

Lab Tested Finished Yen Sid's Lab.
This is the tutorial level, and as such, you can't miss this trophy.

Make Your Own Way Ignored Daisy AND Smee's suggestions.
Simply find the 3rd way through Ventureland. It takes a little bit of doing and some good thinking, but you'll figure it out. Just don't do either of what they ask and make it through.

Master Pin Collector Collected 176 Collectible Pins.
Pins are found everywhere, in chests and from completing quests. Just take your time through the game, explore, and work on quests, especially if you're working towards Perfectionist.

Not-So-Sleepy Hollow Revealed every knothole surprise.
There are 6 hidden ghosts in Bog Easy. Simply use Thinner on each tree you see and thin the knotholes to discover the ghosts. The trees aren't too hard to find, so this shouldn't be too difficult. After finding the last one, this trophy is yours.

Off Track Shuttered all four train stations.
Throughout the game, you'll learn that the train stations around Wasteland are going to be destroyed soon. You'll repair them in "The Wasteland Limited," but for this trophy, you simply ignore the stations. After the credits/epilogue, return to the 4 stations and watch them become destroyed. After seeing the last one become beyond repair, this trophy is yours. Do NOT attempt this trophy while working on Perfectionist!

Oswald's New Groove Finished Dark Beauty Castle with two players.
Easily done with 2 controllers. Just finish the stage with 2 players and bam! The trophy is yours.

Perfectionist Finished all quests.
I won't even try to explain how frustrating this can be, as some quests are very sensitive in terms of time or prerequisites. Instead, check out the linked guide up above.

Picture Perfect Got all three of Metairie's pictures.
Tied to a mission, check the guide for better details.

Prince Charming Befriended 100 enemies.
Simply use Paint on any enemy you see until you reach this. Given how many enemies you'll come across, as well as how many times you'll find a spawner for enemies, this isn't hard to achieve.

Projector Corrector Restarted the Rainbow Falls Substation.
Story related, can't be missed.

Race the Autotopia Speedway Completed a race in Autotopia.
Tied to a mission, check the guide for better details.

Recycler Befriended 50 enemies.
See Prince Charming.

Rogues Gallery Photographed every enemy.
After collecting the camera from Adelle, you can snap pictures of the enemies in the game. After taking a picture of one of each enemy, this trophy is yours.

Running the Gauntlet Got through Blot Alley by any means.
Get through Blot Alley using only Paint or Thinner. If you're going for Perfectionist, you have to use Paint. This is tied to Blot Alley Superstar.

Siphon...Siphoff... Dealt with all the Guardian Siphons.
Story related, can't be missed.

Staff Photographer Got all Adelle's photos from the official Picture Spots.
Tied to a mission, check the guide for better details.

Statue Garden Awakened every Spirit.
This is related to collecting Unique Pins. Simply collect the pins needed to awaken each of the 12 statues and this trophy is yours. This is somewhat related to Perfectionist, so the guide will be handy.

The Bigger They Are... Defeated Prescott's mechanical creation.
Story related, can't be missed.

Thinderella Destroyed 100 enemies.
This is identical to Prince Charming, except this time you're just using Thinner instead of Paint.

Things Are Worxing Out Opened the way to Blot Alley.
Story related, can't be missed.

Trailblazer Braved Disney Gulch.
Story related, can't be missed.

Tryptic Dealt with all 3 dioramas.
Story related, can't be missed.

Tunnel Mouse Played through every D.E.C.
Sort of story related, but just look everywhere for them in conjunction with Perfectionist. It won't be too hard if you're doing the Paint-only run.

Walking the Mean Streets Navigated both halves of Mean Street.
Story related, can't be missed.

We've Got Spirit, Yes We Do! Awakened a Spirit.
See Statue Garden.

When You Wish Upon a Star Painted every star and comet in Yen Sid's Lab.
Ironically missable, as you can't return to Yen Sid's Lab after you finish the level. When you're painting in meteors to climb up a starry room, make sure to look around in the sky and use Paint wherever you can, as you'll fill in the stars and comets. Just take your time through the area and look around carefully.

You Must be This Tall to Ride Defeated the Mad Doctor's new ride.
Story related, can't be missed.

Your Conscience Be Your Guide Found a way through the Rainbow Caverns.
Story related, can't be missed.

And that's all for the trophy guide! To be honest, I'm not sure what people don't like about this game. I know Oswald's AI is a little... iffy, at times, but I had a pretty enjoyable experience, and I loved it a lot, just like the first Epic Mickey on the Wii. In fact, writing this guide actually makes me want to play this game again, so maybe after I burn myself out on Pokémon and Fire Emblem, I'll jump into it again. But thanks so much for reading and I will see you later! :D

*This game took me a total of 3 days and 8 hours to finish, from my first trophy to the platinum. My first trophy was "When You Wish Upon a Star" which was achieved on March 30th, 2015 at 4:03 PM. My final trophy was "Off Track" which was achieved on April 3rd, 2015 at 12:12 AM, along with the platinum, "Can I Get a Pin of That?" This platinum trophy is the 17th platinum trophy I have received.*
