Bomberman Jetters

So I've heard from a few sources that this game is basically a watered-down Generation. I disagree, I feel like this game has a bit more than Generation, honestly. Sure, some of the things were taken out, like minigames and Charabom battles, but there's still plenty in this game that makes up for those losses.

For starters, you can now play as Max whenever you want by hitting Y. He doesn't have many differences from White Bomber, other than the fact that he can't use Charabom abilities or special bombs. He can, however, use a Hyper Plasma Bomb by holding B until it's done. The bomb will make the screen flash and deal damage to every enemy on the screen. Effective for wiping out a crowd quickly if you don't have the luxury of a Charabom that allows for bombs with remote detonation.

With Charaboms, they work a little differently this time. For starters, there are no battles. When you see a Charabom in the level, simply touch it to collect it. Next, instead of items that boost their stats and level, each Charabom has 5 levels. You collect bananas, strawberries, and melons in order to level them up. At each level, their abilities will be a little stronger. But at level 5, their appearance changes and their abilities become maxed out to allow their full potential to be used. Each Charabom has something different, so having one "equipped" to suit your needs is always handy, besides just needing to use them to progress.

Next are collectibles. You wouldn't think so, but there are a lot more of them this time. There are still Lightning Cards, but now there are 4 colors of HIGE HIGE Cards, and there are also Jetters Cards. Of course, you'll need to return to levels you were in and use new Charaboms to reach new places and such, but this time they have more purpose than unlocking characters in multiplayer. However, only the Lightning Cards are needed for the true ending. After collecting all of them, you can fight the final boss (again, if need be) and unlock the final stage, to reveal the True Mastermind!

Otherwise, though, if you've played Generation, you already know how to play this game, but it's still a lot of fun, especially if you enjoy Bomberman games. Thanks for reading and I'll see you soon!

Have a nice day!~
